This two-day event provides a comprehensive understanding of the new Growing Brain curriculum and what it means to be a Certified Trainer in this curriculum. Trainers will learn skills and evidence-informed strategies to prepare early childhood providers for their vital role in building healthy brains, including: teaching early childhood professionals about brain development architecture and neurobiology to inform their practice; supporting language, cognition, prosocial behavior, and social-emotional development; and reducing toxic stress that can negatively influence brain development of very young children.

Cost is $549 and includes provisional trainer certification, and ZERO TO THREE Membership for one year.

To enroll in a Growing Brain Training of Trainers course you must first prequalify to become a ZERO TO THREE Certified Trainer for The Growing Brain through the Learning Center.

1. Log in/create an account on the ZERO TO THREE Learning Center
2. Select “Apply/Renew” under Trainer Certifications on your profile page
3. Click “Apply for ZERO TO THREE Certified Trainer: Growing Brain”.

You are encouraged to download the Growing Brain Trainer Certification Overview to help confirm you meet the provisional certification criteria, and are ready to provide documentation of meeting it. You will receive application status updates from the Learning Center; and approved applicants will be notified via email of upcoming The Growing Brain Training of Trainers events, with a direct link for registration.

Please feel free to reach out to Vanessa Villatoro, vvillatoro@zerotothree.org, with any questions about the ZERO TO THREE Learning Center, your application, and Trainer Certification.
