This two-day event provides a comprehensive understanding of the new Growing Brain curriculum and what it means to be a Certified Trainer in this curriculum. Trainers will learn skills and evidence-informed strategies to prepare early childhood providers for their vital role in building healthy brains, including: teaching early childhood professionals about brain development architecture and neurobiology to inform their practice; supporting language, cognition, prosocial behavior, and social-emotional development; and reducing toxic stress that can negatively influence brain development of very young children.

Cost is $549 and includes provisional trainer certification, and ZERO TO THREE Membership for one year.

To enroll in this course you must first prequalify by applying to become a ZERO TO THREE Certified Trainer for The Growing Brain.  To begin an application please login/create an account on ZERO TO THREE’s Learning Center:
Once logged in please select “Apply/Renew” under Trainer Certifications on your profile page and then “Apply for ZERO TO THREE Certified Trainer: Growing Brain.”  Here you will complete an application showing evidence of meeting Trainer Certification prequalification (education, professional history, etc.).  Please find attached a FAQs document for more information on ZERO TO THREE Trainer Certification and The Growing Brain Curriculum.
After submitting your application you will receive updates from the ZERO TO THREE Learning Center.  Approved applicants will be emailed with a direct link for registration.
Please feel free to reach out to Vanessa Villatoro,, with any questions about the ZERO TO THREE Learning Center, your application, and Trainer Certification.
